BioKasumi, a Japanese exchange student at Columbia University, had just started her second semester abroad when her life crumpled around her as a result of the Fall, leaving her without friends or family. In the days since she found herself alone, she has been making her way slowly through the streets, barricading herself into whatever shelter she could find each night.
Each morning when she wakes, she is disturbed to find her form has changed. She finds herself taking on the physical appearance of family members, celebrities, or even just random classmates she encountered before the Fall. She has learned to reassert herself, but it takes a lot of concentration and tires her out, so recently she hasn't bothered. Who is left to recognize her, anyway?
I am not really Yukie Nakama. Nor am I Kasumi Yamada. This journal is part of a writing community, and for pure entertainment.
